I don’t know about you, but for me, this Bible verse always had a condemning tone. “Do this, do that”… you’re never doing enough! The strange thing is, God never had this written to make an accusation, but rather to make a point clear.

The Bible is not a theological or philosophical exposition but a manual, a handbook like the one you always get when purchasing some sophisticated product. Over the centuries, the constant “exploitation” of all biblical words and statements has led to the birth of a new generation of people, namely the Pharisees. These are people who pride themselves on their belief, and they act on it! They often dedicate their lives to serving that belief. However, you do not see much change in their lives…
Many of us also run the risk of becoming Pharisees. Hence, this call from our heavenly Father: Do not just study the Bible! It is important to know that the Bible consists of 66 books written over a period of 2000 years by many different writers. The Bible is not just a book, but a true library. It is the best-selling and most translated book in the world, but it remains a manual. If studying the Word does not change your quality of life, you are already a step ahead of those who do not attend gatherings. After all, you are already hearing the words. A manual, however, is not just written to hear the words but also to apply them. This can save you a lot of problems.

“When your mechanic sells you a gasoline car, know that his advice and the text in the owner’s manual are not meant as a nice piece of prose or a casual suggestion. In a gasoline car, you simply can’t refuel with diesel, even if it’s a bit cheaper.
People often encounter unexpected and unpleasant things. This might be the case next year as well. However, a significant part of the outcome depends on you. Solutions can be found in the Bible and in the gatherings where it is taught.
If we make the resolution for the coming year to not just hear the Word with indifference, but to also put it into practice, we will face rain and wind like everyone else… but whether your house stands is not dependent on the circumstances, but on where you have built it!
Our country, our world, needs miracles and God. If we resolve to hear and do His words, the coming year will look completely different. Not only for ourselves, but for all the people we meet on our path!
A prosperous 2024 to you and your entire family!!!”

Everyone faces some kind of need at times. For some, it’s about everyday things, while for others, it’s more complicated issues.
One thing is certain: Jesus suffered for every need and every problem on the cross. We firmly believe that Jesus did not die in vain and that He wants to lighten every burden and solve every problem. However, it is essential that we bring these needs before Him in prayer.
You can certainly do this on your own, but we have experienced that collective prayer, as a community, is particularly powerful. Unified prayer can bring about miracles!
Because we see so many positive results, both locally and internationally, we also want to give you the opportunity to submit prayer requests in the box, whether you attend our services or not.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could inform us about prayers that have been answered. We too enjoy being encouraged!
NBG: I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance! (John 10:10 – NBG)
And yet, in a time when there is a growing call for deeper values, we seem to go to great lengths to devalue our Christian heritage, sometimes even feeling the need to apologize for our faith.
